This software is just essential.
I am on Windows 7 and I don't know why but after a while, I need to delete and reinstall the TouchFreeze, as it becomes inefficient.
I've experienced this same issue with TouchFreeze since graduating to Windows 7 in 2011. Rather than uninstall and reinstall each tiime, it quits working, sometimes simple restarting the program from the Start menu solves the issue for a few days or weeks.
Don't recall ever having this problem with XP and TouchFreeze.
Have just installed v.1.1.0 on my Win7 laptop after a completely fresh install of Windows 7 Ultimate. Hope 1.1.0 plays nice. TouchFreeze is a lifesaver for a super fast typist like me.
TouchFreeze can mess up your cursor, causing it to highlight text even when you have not clicked the left click - just moving the mouse causes an unintended click-and-drag effect. I also suspect it causes an unintended double-click on occasion, when just hovering the cursor over a program button.
I love this little program! It solved all my problems, from sending incomplete e-mails, to writing absolute nonsense, to closing/minimizing windows that shouldn't be! This is wonderful. I've typed a whole half-page without the cursor skipping anywhere unintended! Thanks guys! I'm definitely gonna go and give a donation!
BTW, for you techie guys, I'm using an ASUS laptop with touchscreen and I have Windows 8.
My keyboard entries were jumping around the screen like crazy even when I was nowhere near the keypad--I guess the vibration alone was causing this. This lovely little program solved the problem immediately. I highly recommend it. One small problem, it doesn't always seem to load when starting up after a shutdown.
A major con is that it also freezes the clicking ability of a mouse plugged into the laptop (at least it did for me on an ASUS laptop with Windows 8 and an HP mouse). I found this issue to be more annoying than the one I installed this software for, so I uninstalled it again.
